Action Items • Pursue using a shrinking cone move analysis to 31X. • Moved away from PF2PAT and now have this working and can easily switch between shrinking and fixed cone algorithms. • Investigate relative isolation with a floor(1 GeV floor?) and a looser HCAL isolation cut. • Move toward completing physics analysis, Estimate Z->tautau cross section error. • Build Z->etau validation package for the tau group Joshua Swanson

  3. Shrinking Cone vs. Fixed Cone τs • Discrimination: • Electron Rejection • Muon Rejection • Lead Track Finding • Isolation • Lead Track Pt • Shrinking Cone performs better as expected. Joshua Swanson

  4. Electron Track Isolation • Track Isolation < 1 for Et<30 • Track Isolation < 3-60/Et for Et>30 Joshua Swanson

  5. Electron ECAL Isolation • Ecal Isolation < 2 for Et < 30 • Ecal Isolation < 3-30/Et for Et>30 Joshua Swanson
