Words of advice: Building a strong relationship with investors • Read through contract carefully before signing • Payments and reporting on time (essential!!) • Show progress on business plan activities • Inform all investors in a timely manner about developments • Contact investors in case a loan covenant is (about to be) violated • Be transparent
