  1. Summary of FMS/Jet Meetings September 11 2014

  2. FMS Meeting: 9/8/14 • Chris Dilks: Run 13 FMS Neutral Pion ALL • https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog/dilks/zdc-local-polarimetr • https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog/dilks/relative-scaler-asymmetriesy • MrigankaMondal: Trigger Threshold Matching for Data and Simulations • http://www.star.bnl.gov/protected/spin/mriganka/fms-simu/trigger/SimulationDtaThreshold.pdf • Kevin Atkins: Systematic Errors on Collins Asymmetries • https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog/jkadkins/jet-meeting-h2h1-implementation • ZilongChang: Run 12 Inclusive Jet ALL • https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog/zchang/run12-inclusive-jet-all-updates-0909 JET Meeting: 9/9/14

  3. Christopher Dilks: Run13 FMS Inclusive Neutral Pion ALL • ZDC Polarimetry • Bunch Fitting for Scaler Asymmetries

  4. MrigankaMondal: Trigger Threshold Matching for Data/Simulation

  5. Kevin Atkins: Systematic Errors on Collins Asymmetries

  6. Conclusions

  7. ZiLong Zhang • Trimming down eta range • Systematic uncertainties • Pt shift • Trigger and reconstruction bias • Residual transverse polarization • Non-collision background

  8. Jet ALL with Run9 data vs. xT ZiLong Chang • R=0.5 for 2012 • |eta| < 0.9 • Starting with the 7.1 GeVpT bin

  9. Systematic uncertainty – residual transverse polarization Take (to be confirmed) from run 6 pp200 to run12 pp510 by assuming xT scaling for pT < 38 GeV so the residual transverse polarization systematic is only  negligible

  10. Left to do Calculate pT shift uncertainties by each trigger and combine them Calculate trigger and reconstruction bias uncertainty by each trigger and combine them, including the wrong z-vertex dilution Residual transverse polarization is small and we could neglect it Non-collision background yet to be determined Calculate expected ALL with new DSSV and new NNPDF for comparison to the Run 12 results
