  15. A perfect heart does not mean a sinless, flawlessheart.

  16. Man judges perfection by outward performance, but God judges the heart, He looks at & examines motives.

  27. Benefits of being vulnerable with God:

  28. 1. Experience God’s blessings

  30. Who may climb the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place?

  31. 4 Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols  and never tell lies.

  32. 5 They will receive the Lord’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their savior.

  34. 2. A perfect heart is trusting

  35. Psalm 22:1-2

  36. My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? Why are you so far away when I groan for help?

  37. 2 Every day I call to you, my God, but you do not answer.  Every night you hear my voice, but I find no relief.

  38. Psalm 22:3-5

  39. Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel. 4 Our ancestors trusted in you, and you rescued them.

  40. 5 They cried out to you and were saved. They trusted in you and were never disgraced.

  41. Trust is to fling oneself off a precipice.

  42. 3. A perfect heart is a brokenheart.

  43. Psalm 34:18

  44. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

  45. Psalm 51:17

  46. The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.

  49. God releases hopein how He wants to healpeople.
