Method of Computation Expressed as the number of persons in employment as a percentage of the population for the corresponding sex and age group (either working-age or youth) Compilation Practice ILO concentrates on bringing together information from international repositories. In other words, the KILM team rarely collects information directly from national sources, but rather takes advantage of existing compilations held by various organizations Definition • The proportion of population aged 14-64 Years that is employed. Compilation Practice ILO concentrates on bringing together information from international repositories. Definition • Proportion of working age (15-24/18-30 Years) population without work, looking for work and available for work using a reference period of one week.
