  3. Centralized Resources Brain-trust to minimize soft-costs of researching products, pricing and businesses. Uses information of specific schools’ needs to help schools save money i.e. Secured exclusive pricing for a Scholastic literacy program for 6 schools 2013 Business Summit (November 14, 2013)

Leveraged Purchasing Power The Association has established charter school purchasing agreements with specified merchants to leverage the collective size of the number of charter schools in the state. • Charter School Purchasing Agreements - Negotiated rates for charter schools with specific businesses based on economies of scale. • Merchant Vetting - Establish relevance and experience of businesses wishing to market thru the Association to charter schools. • Soliciting Multiple Bids - Purchasing agreements are established by soliciting multiple bids from local and national businesses in order to establish and secure the most aggressive pricing and highest standard of service for Arizona schools.

Charter MarketPlace • Launching at 2013 Business Summit (November 14, 2013) • Online platform (http://chartermarketplace.org/) for schools to search, find, and review companies that do business with charter schools. • Opportunities for businesses to offer exclusive discounts to charter schools. • Rating and comment component for schools to see what other schools have said about a specific company. • Ability for the Association to intervene in the event a school is unsatisfied with the service they receive from a company on Charter MarketPlace.
