Facts About Malcolm X • Malcolm X was born Malcolm Little on May 19, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska. • He live in a house with eight children. • Louis Norton Little, was the mother of Malcolm X. His mother was homemaker. • Earl Little, was the father of Malcolm X. His farther was a minister.
Racism • They moved from Omaha, to Nebraska after being threatened by the Ku Klux Klan. • While living in a all white neighborhood in Michigan their house was burned down. • When Malcolm was six years old his farther was murdered, the black community figure that white people committed the crime. • Three of Malcolm X uncles where killed by white people too
Becoming A Criminal • Malcolm X live in Boston, Massachusetts, with his sister, There he work as a shoeshine boy, a busboy, and a waiter. Malcolm X visited the ghetto of Roxbury. There he started living the street life. Wearing flashy clothes, gambling, selling drugs and ect.
Changing his Life • At the age of twenty Malcolm was sentenced to a ten year in prison for burglary. While being in prison for so long he began to change his life around. He started reading history and became a Black Muslims.
