    5. 5 RDD RDD (Required Delivery Date) Project Codes: 777; 999 or actual required delivery date(use project codes) 2. Why is this important? Using incorrect project code or actual RDD could cause unneeded Air Challenge

    6. 6 TP-(1,2,3) TP (Transportation Priority) Air TPs TP-1 (Hot Commodity) Takes Priority TP-2 (All other) First Come, First Serve Ship TPs TP-3 (These items will not move by Air, only items marked to New Cumberland will be TP-3)

    7. 7 TAC TAC (Transportation Account Code) “F_ _ _” - Air Force (FA99 for Balad) “A_ _ _” - Army (A1LD for Balad) “S_ _ _” - DLA (we don’t use) Always use FA99

    8. 8 TCN TCN (Transportation Control Number) The TCN is a 17-character data element assigned to control and manage every shipment unit throughout the transportation pipeline. The TCN for each shipment is unique and not duplicated

    9. How to Build TCN FB5860 – Balad 332 AEW UIC 9013 – Julian Date of Award P/Z/F – Contract Instrument 123X – Last three digits of PIIN XX – Shipment increment number Example: FB58609013P123XXX 9

Air Challenge What will get Air Challenged? -Marked RDD 999 / Listed on Auto Challenge -Weighs over 250lbs marked TP-1 other than RDD 999 or TP-2 with any RDD -Any Shipment marked TP-3 will be automatically diverted to Sea Transport. Do not use for Dover -Items diverted to Sea Transport could add up to 2 weeks to the delivery time. 13

How to avoid unnecessary Air Challenge Mark TP-2 RDD: 777. 250lbs / Split Shipments Do not ship oversized items to Dover that can make the trip via Sea Transport. - How long will it take for Dover Shipment to get here? Usually 2-6 weeks, with 3-4 weeks being the norm. 17

    21. Acceptance/Invoicing DD250 Statement Items were received at CCP DDSP, New Cumberland, PA and redirected to Norfolk, VA for shipment to the customer in Iraq. This has been verified by TCN tracking and Vendor POD. The items were not physically inspected to verify quantity or quality. 21

Common Problems Vendors using incorrect TCNs Vendors not filling out the supplied DD Forms Correctly Vendors not contacting ACA prior to shipping to Dover KO’s putting shipping instructions at the end of the contract, ensure instructions are in section D. Vendors are not putting “Mark For” on shipments Vendors are not labeling shipments with contract number Vendors should register with their local Defense Contracting Management Authority (DCMA). Incorrect Consignee 22
