  2. James and Mary Mooney David D. Mooney is the son of James Mooney and Mary Mitchell. We do not know much about them other than that James was born in Ireland about 1802 and Mary was born in Scotland about 1799. Mary Johnson’s parents are Daniel Johnson, born in Ireland about 1820, and Harriet Roi, born about 1830 in Canada. Because of the limited knowledge of their ancestors we really begin our journey with David Darrell Mooney and Mary Johnson. David was born in Inverness County, Megantic, Quebec Canada on August 10, 1843. Mary was born in St Agathe, Quebec, Canada on September 10 1848. They were Married in Quebec on April 24, 1873.
