  4. Authority • How can a servant have authority? • He usurps it – Satan • He has a higher position than another servant - story of debtors • Authority was given to him - Joseph

  6. A Servant with Authority • Phil 2 He took the role of humble servant • Yet throughout the Gospels Jesus the Christ has supreme authority Mt 28.18 • Not a grasping, self-proclaiming glory seeker

  7. The Authority He expressed as a man was God given, verified by others, and a benefit to all.

  8. Depends on who the shepherd is!

  10. So what? • He has the attitude of a caring servant • Your best in mind • with the authority of God to deliver you from evil. • Satan’s many forms of attack

  11. His Name is Wonderful His name is Wonderful, (3x) Jesus my Lord; He is the Mighty King, Master of everything, His Name is Wonderful, Jesus my Lord!

  12. He’s the great Shepherd, the Rock of all ages, Almighty God is He! Bow down before Him, love and adore Him; His name is Wonderful, Jesus my Lord.
