  3. Funding Rules 2012/13 • 51. For unemployed Learners this is a full-time programme and will last for 12 weeks and 420 glh. For these Learners, a value of 420 must be reported in the Guided learning hours field in the ILR to generate the correct SLN values for 2012/13. This glh figure includes any work experience and non-contact time. • 52. For employed Learners the programme will last for 20 days and 90 glh. Where this is the case, 90 must be reported in the Guided learning hours field in the ILR to generate the correct SLN values for 2012/13.

  4. Funding Rules 2013/2014 • 66. We have confirmed to the Prince’s Trust that funding for their programme would be protected at 2012/2013 levels. As such, you must claim: 66.1. as shown in the rates matrix, the funding rate for the award or certificate in employment, teamwork and community skills (QCF) at entry level 3, level 1 and level 2 66.2. the costs of the residential element of the Prince’s Trust Team Programme from your Discretionary Learner Support fund, and 66.3. all other support costs from Learning support funding.

  5. Discretionary Learner and Learning Support 2013/14 • £883,766 moved from Adult Skills Budget into DLS • Highest £63,479, lowest £494 – based on £247 per start in 2011/12 • Average moved to DLS 3.87% £10,648. • ALS budget now part of ASB

  6. Princes Trust Team Programme • Eligibility as per normal learners • Only 19+ classroom learning (i.e. 19 or older on 31st August in the funding year) • Can be part of the offer to the unemployed
