  2. Firearms In UK, ownership of firearms is strictly controlled Good reason is necessary for a Firearms Certificate Good reasons: • Membership of a Home Office Approved Club • e.g. Membership of the NRA or a local club • Field shooting eg. British Deer Society

  3. Safety Always assume a firearm is loaded Prove it is clear A firearm in your possession is your responsibility NEVER point a firearm at anyone Never load a firearm unless on a firing point and with permission Loaded firearms MUST ALWAYS be pointed at the target

  4. Security Never leave firearms unattended or on view when in transit Never handle another person’s firearms without permission Never leave firearms or ammunition unattended on the range
