In geological terms, this is called a "tombolo"(連島沙州). • A bulletin board with details of Ma Shi Chau Special Area can be found at the starting point of the Nature Trail.

  10. Site5 Tensional or compressional forces originating from tectonic movement faults are prone to weathering and erosion material in rocks: iron( contains oxygen) change rock’s size colour: red and brown

  11. The Formation of Exdogenetic Process Mighty nature : folding nature shapes rocks into various forms rocks are folded folds are warps in rock layers caused by compressional forcesand are most apparent in sedimentary rock with sedimentary beddings the pressure stronger than the limit the rock layers can withstand is applied, rocks will be cracked and displaced

  12. Chong Chi Hing’s Feeling • In this field trip , I think the most terrible thing is that I have never got into a rough time which was the heavy rain . It was really uncomfortable ! However , I think I enjoy the learning experience of this field trip because I can learn more about Geography and some information more deeper .Not only that , I think my member , Cheung Yuk Ying who is the best one taking the essential role in my group . She did not only do things actively and being a domestic helper but also took care of every member in our group .Therefore , I think she is very sensible in this group . I think I have honor because of her . Therefore I think this field trip is quite meaningful .

  13. Cheung Yuk Ying’s Feeling • This flied trip is memorable! I can learn much more than studying on the lesson! There were some obstacles in this field trip. The road is difficult to walk and because the help of my members, I can finish the field trip and insist to not give up.

  14. Ho Yan Chak’s Feeling • I learn a lot of things in this field trip. I can learn many things other than books, we must see it by our eyes. So I very agree this field trip. But I am not happy because the weather is not good in that day .I was sick after that day, I think it was caused by the rain. At the same time, I build up a good relationship with my members.

  15. Lau Mei Kuen’s Feeling • I am very happy to have a field trip. For me, I am not good at Geography . Sometimes, I think it is quiet difficult to understand the endogenetic process(folding, compression, etc). But I enjoyed it because I do not have this kind of opportunity in daily life. • My most impressed thing is that rain falling down during the field trip! Many of us were wet and surely felt surprised!
