  2. Concerts There are many performances from lots of bands all over Slovakia, and even some of them come here from abroad!!! Many concerts are situated in summer, because it´s time, when people have much more free time for this kind of fun. So they can come and it´s always good for band members, if they see how big the audience is. Then they play even much better and enjoy the whole show and this is the best for both sides. Of course, concerts are not only in summer. Like for example - if there is a concert in winter or the weather is not that good to perform, organizerscan change the place every time they need to. So the band, singer or whoever it is, play their show in some buildings, that perfect match with their planning show.

  3. The days of city Prešov Or in Slovak „DnimestaPrešov“.First week in June we celebrate anniversary of dedication „urban privileges“ to our cityevery single year and it´s always for free. This year it was the 710. anniversary. Lotsof bands agreeto share this special moment with us. For instance:, Chikilikitu-a, Heľenineoči, PražskýVýběr II, Komajotaetc. There were also some other events we could see.

  4. T-Mobile Music City (2008) Last year we had an opportunity to see such many bands and singers, butwe couldn´t be at all of them. There were 3 stages placed in 3 different places in Prešov+ 5 clubs. Bands like Heľenineoči, Chikilikitu-a (again), Nocadeň, David Koller with his band and many more were performed. There were some DJ-s in clubs, but also some others bands (itwasfor FREE).

  5. Coop Jednota SUMMER TOUR ´08 This event was powered by COOP JEDNOTA and it was tour in Slovakia, in cities like PREŠOV, BanskáBystrica, LiptovskýMikuláš, Nitra and Žilina. This one was also for free. Show included bands as IMT Smile, HorkýžeSlíže and Lavagance (all are from Slovakia).

  6. Rock´s (de)frosting In Slovak „Rockové (ROZ)mrazenie“. This festival was in winter, somewhen in december lastyear. Itwasverycold to beoutside, so itwassituated in a building „meststká športová hala“, thebiggestone in Prešov. The program wasveryattractive. Thereyou had a chance to seePolemic, (again) Helenine oči, Arzén, Hex, Aya and thefinal (thiswasthelastone) was a big surprise LORDI fromFinland(thiseventwasnotforfree ;-D).

  7. IMT SMILE concerts • IMT SMILE isbandfrom Prešov formed in 1992 by Ivan and Miro Tásler. • Amongyoungpeople, they are reallypopular and they´vegotmanywell-knownsongs... • IMT isplayinglotofconcertsthrough a year. In thesummertheynormallyplayatthefestivals, on tours or just in somecubs. In our city youcanfindthemmainly in CITY CLUB. TheClubisn´t big, butwhenthey are there, itisalwaysfull :D
