Vermont’s newest invader: Hemlock Wooly Adelgid threatens to kill thousands of hemlocks. Moving Firewood can spread invasive insects and diseases that KILL TREES. Use local sources of firewood buy firewood where you camp. A good Rule is : Never move firewood more than 50 miles.
