BCD Travel • Traveler to book own or Guest Traveler(non-employee) • Book online or phone(CTS available – no out of pocket expense) • No fee if canceled within 24 hrs • Airfare • Hotel • Car Rental • Mobile Phone Apps • Provides Travelers with trip reservation options no different than what is offered through other travel sites such as Travelocity or Expedia • Instant UC Business Traveler Insurance enrollment • E-Receipts • Personal Use (with own card)

  5. Non-Employee Reservations • BCD Travel • When a Non-employee traveler needs to make the reservation additional steps are involved: • The Travel Arranger (i.e., the person in your department that makes the airfare reservations) provides the non-employee traveler with their Traveler ID and the contact information for BCD's full service agents (877-885-8632 option 3). If a traveler ID hasn't yet been created, it can be done with the Non-Employee Traveler Setup. • The Travel Arranger sends their e-mail authorization to UC.Authorizations@bcdtravel.com, informing the agency that the non-employee traveler will contact them directly • In the Subject line enter: UCD Arranger Authorization for Guest Last Name / First Name • In the body of the e-mail include the traveler’s name and Traveler ID. If someone other than the traveler will call BCD to book the reservation, include that person’s name • The traveler contacts the agency Monday - Friday 7:00am-5:30pm PT and provides the traveler ID and the authorizing travel arranger's name • The agent verifies the Traveler ID and arranger name provided by the caller against the information in the e-mail from the travel arranger and books the trip using the UCD agent references

  7. Non Employee Reservations • When non-employees make their own reservations using Connexxus Agencies, additional steps are involved: • UC Travel Center(UCTC) • The Travel Arranger (i.e., the person in your department that makes the airfare reservations) provides the non-employee traveler with their Traveler ID and the contact information for UCTC's full service agents (800-235-8252). If a traveler ID hasn't yet been created, it can be done with the Non-Employee Traveler Setup. • The Travel Arranger sends their e-mail authorization to travel@finance.ucla.edu, informing the agency that the non-employee traveler will contact them directly • In the Subject line enter: UCD Arranger Authorization for Guest Last Name / First Name • In the body of the e-mail include the traveler’s name and Traveler ID.   8. Southwest Air (SWABIZ) • Extra Reward Points (250 points each way) for each person • Access to the Wanna Get Away Prices • No CTS (must use personal or Corporate Card) • Traveler needs to file own Travel Insurance form

  9. STA Travel • Has CTS Card • Call in Service Only
