Power measurements Scope: Verify the power given by the software • DBQ • PETS • SAS • Compact Loads
Air speed measurement • Scope • Measure actual air speed on the module surface • Observe the uniformity of air speed along the module as well as between the DB and MB • Provide these values as input to the module FEA simulator Fans
Air speed measurement • The room air speed tuned to the nominal CLIC value of 0.7 m/s • Measurement of air speed along the module at 5 points on the MB and DB. • Measurement of air speed on grid of points covering the whole room 1 2 3 4 5
Air speed measurement • The air speed is uniform between the DB and MB. • The air speed decreases along the structure. This fact is expected taking into account the position of the fans.
