  2. Former Dixon Smith Students; It is with regrets that we inform you that a Dixon Smith teacher, Ms. Jana T. Frazier passed away in May. The Principal of Dixon Smith extends you this invitation:

  3. Please Join Us for a Memorial in Honor of Jana T. Frazier Wednesday, June 11, 2014 1:00 p.m. At Dixon-Smith Middle School

  4. TODAY, June 5th is the last day for the 5:00 Activity Bus. NO activity buses next week

  5. All Lockers Must Be cleaned out by noon Friday, June 13th. Any items left in the lockers will be donated to charity the following week. So please make sure that you remove any personal belongings by noon, Friday June 13th.

  6. SHS will have Saturday School   on June 7. Use this Saturday to make up time.  Pick up blue Saturday School form from the main office.

  9. 2014 Graduation DVD’s will also contain the Class of 2014 Freshman yearbook pictures along with their Senior pictures. Seniors, IF you do not have an SHS Freshman or Senior yearbook picture, you may provide a digital one to Mrs. Stone by June 6th and it will be added to the Graduation DVD.

  10. Attention: Drivers Remember if you have 3un-excused tardy situations, your parking pass will be pulled for 1 week & you will receive a detention.  If you are tardy a fourth time, your parking pass is revoked for the rest of the semester. We still have a waiting list of 40 students who want passes.

  18. Senior Immunization Record If you are a current student and need a copy of your Immunization record for college, a job, or parent records, please request them from the Nurse’s office. There is a 24-hour turnaround time for the request. NOTE: The Nurse’s staff is not on duty for the summer and the record may not be readily available

  20. Next Year’s Golf Team will meet on Wednesday, June 11, at 2:30. Anyone interested please come down to the cafeteria to receive information from Coach Harrison.

  21. Parents & Students interested in Running Cross Country There will be a mandatory meeting for any students and their parents who are interested in running cross country next year on June 16th at 6:30pm in the cafeteria.
