  1. My FavoriteArt Nick Schuit

  2. Title: Frozen Assets • Artist: Diego Rivera • Date of Composition:1931 • Artistic Era: Modern

  3. I chose this picture by Diego Rivera because I enjoy looking out at cities. For example, I love when we drive out of the tunnel in Pittsburgh and we get a great view of Pittsburgh. Also Rivera portrays the life during the Great Depression, people going to work, the homeless people get to sleep, and the wealthy get to put their money in the bank. The Great Depression interests me.

  4. Title: Boats on The Siene • Artist: Rusinol • Date of Composition: 1894 • Artistic Era: Impressionism

  5. I chose this piece of art because I really enjoy being at lakes and fishing. This piece of work by Rusinol really reminds me of the annual trip that I take to Chautauqua Lake in New York. While being their I enjoy to fish in boats and just be on the water. I really enjoy this piece of work.

  6. Title: African Beach • Artist: Mariano Fortuny • Date of Composition: 1867 • Artistic Era: Romantic

  7. I chose this picture because I enjoy going to the beach, and it was something that I could relate to because I go to the beach every summer. I also chose it because it reminds me of the peacefulness of being at the beach and how quiet it is.
