  5. How Canyon’s are formed • Canyon’s are formed by erosion • The area that been worn away tends to be softer rock witch is easily whetheredby water and also by wind. • Steve on a Canyon

  9. We go to beaches almost everyday in the summer. Do you wonder about the characteristics in a beach? Beaches are known for many things Beaches

  11. Facts about beaches • The world’s largest pleasure beach is Virginia beach, it’s 45 Km. • Waves crashing against the shore can weaken cliffs and cause some to fall in to the beach. • Did you know that many scientist believe that phenomen??

Plains Difference between Plains and Beaches Beaches • Beaches have an ocean near it and it has salt water in it. • Beaches are sandy and have dunes. • Sand is bigger on the Dune. • Plains are basically plain. • It is related to deserts. • Plains can be found near valleys. • It has grass and that’s it.

  14. Charateristics • It can be a great place to live (Sometimes) • The grass turns yellowish during winter. • Plains are called plains because well… it’s just plain.

  17. Plateaus characteristics • Many plateaus are created by lava flowing and then building up with each volcanic eruption. • Plateaus are also formed when magma in the earth pushes upward but does not push through the crust.

  18. If you look at it, it looks like a staircase. This is the Colorado plateau.
