  2. HR personnel are the gateway for an applicant to get hired and work for the company.They are the one who screen each applicant thoroughly, making sure that all applicants are safe and qualified for the position. In order to filter applicants, HRs should verify first the applicant's resume.

  3. A resume does not tell everything, the applicant might hide some negative records or information that you might need to know. They might also lie in their resume or interview. That is why you have to be creative in finding ways to verify an applicant's resume.

  4. There are contact numbers in an applicants resume that is written in the character reference section. It could be the teacher or principal of the applicant, previous employer, etc. You could contact them in order to verify what is written on the applicant's resume.

  5. You could also search online for the applicant's social media accounts such as Facebook, twitter, linked in etc. From there, you might gather information you might need to know. You can also partially determine his behavior online by just looking at his/her post online

  6. By conducting an effecient interview, you can compare his/her answers from what you have researched online, the information written in his resume, from the character reference whom you have previously contacted. Yo can also determine from his gestures if he is lying or not.

  7. Lastly, by simply conducting pre-employment background checks on applicants and employee background checks for new employees. It simply gives and you an idea if the person has any criminal records and other records that you should know.
