  2. The map of Greece Greece’s currency is the Euro. There are over 6000 islands and islets that belong to Greece. The population is approximately 10,000,000. This is a map of Europe. Clearly pointing out the great country of…..GREECE!! 80% of Greece consists of hills and mountainous land.

  3. Weather Greece has a mild Mediterranean climate. Although some places in Greece have cold winters with lots of snow. The summers can be very hot which attracts a lot of sun-seeking tourists. This beach on the left is in Crete, one of Greece’s islands.

  4. Greek Culture The Greek Independence Day is on the 25 March. A Greek tomb guard This is the traditional Greek salad. Greek Alphabet!

  5. Famous Landmarks The Olympic games were made by the Ancient Greeks. They were first played in 776 BC in Olympia. This is the Parthenon in Athens. A famous Greek landmark. This is the Acropolis of Athens in Greece. Another one of Greece’s famous and tourist-attracting landmarks.

  6. CUISINE This is the average Greek feast. In Greece olives are very popular as the climate is perfect for them to grow. Salads and fish are also very popular in Greece.
