Two Ways To Get Our Attention Crisis: • He “MAKES” me lie down • Isaiah 51:3 - Indeed the Lord will comfort Zion; He will comfort her waste places, and her wilderness He will make like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and a sound of melody.

Key Words • “Lie Down” • We’re not running, walking, standing, or sitting • It’s a sign of humility and respect; shows our dependence on God. • It’s rest • “He Make Me” • Phillip Keller says sheep need 4 things to want to lie down: -Safety-Not hungry-Presence of a Shepherd-Properly groomed and healthy • I disagree

  9. What Is Burnout? Burnout has been described as setting a pace for yourself at a young age and then failing to keep up with it as you age until you lose heart, spend most of your time overcompensating from feeling inadequate, depressed and overwhelmed.

Second Way To Get Our Attention • Process: He Leads Me Beside Still Waters • Sheep need good quality water or they result in drinking form polluted potholes and parasite infested water that results in harm • Matthew 5:6 - Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.
