The Cougar Geeks initiative at CSCC focuses on hands-on IT experience through collaboration among students, faculty, and community partners. We utilize donated equipment from Ohio State University and local businesses to develop our skills in hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and customer service. Guided by our instructor, Asst. Professor Debra Dyer, we engage in projects that include creating user manuals for open-source systems and organizing community benefit events. Our mission is to empower students and positively impact our community through technology.
