  3. Ontstaan • Romeinen zijn ontstaan in 573 V.C. • Remus en Romulus • Romulus stichtte de stad Rome. • Hij werd de eerste koning van Rome.

  4. Julius Caesar • Julius Caesar werd geboren in 100 V.C. • In 55 V.C. werd hij de leider van het eerste Romeinse leger. • Rond 270 maakte Germaanse invallen een einde aan ‘de Romeinse vrede’. • Dankzij Julius Caesar bestaat er een schrikkeljaar.

  5. Romeinse soldaten • De Romeinen waren tijdens de oorlog bijna onoverwinnelijk. • De soldaten hadden een goede uitrusting. • Alles samen woog 30 kg.

  6. Aquaduct • Het aquaduct was de belangrijkste uitvinding. • Het was een soort waterleiding. • Het aquaduct bracht vers water naar het centrum.

  7. Romeinse cijfers • Met de Romeinse cijfers werd vroeger gerekend. • De cijfers zijn bedacht door de Romeinen. • Er is geen symbool voor 0.
