Join us for an interactive session where participants will increase their knowledge of CCSS shifts, connect these shifts to their classrooms, collaborate in groups to create presentations, and share insights via Twitter. The session includes Myth busting, takeaways, and interactive activities for ELA/Literacy and Math. School team members are invited to facilitate group discussions, and secondary math teachers will engage in a Math PowerPoint activity. Each group will focus on one shift, discussing its impact on instruction and seeking support for implementation. Presentations will take the form of skits, raps, etc., with participants sharing their "Aha!" moments and tweeting insights using #ccshifts. Next steps include focusing on ELA/Literacy Shifts 1-3 and Math Shifts 1-2 in April, and ELA/Literacy Shifts 4-6 and Math Shift 3 in May.
