  1. Relive Your Childhood With The Indian Association Perth As a child, you make memories that will last you a lifetime and although you are always in a hurry to grow up, you still enjoy and treasure those times. And when you do grow up, you only wish that you had the chance to go back to those days. So, when you pick up any of the Indian newspapers in Perth, and see that there is an upcoming festival or event you feel your childhood seeping back to you. It is heart-warming to see that the Indian association in Perth as well as several other Australian cities are now taking special efforts to celebrate festivals and any other important days in the Indian calendar with great fervour. While most of these events and celebrations were started with the intention of the next generations learning more about these festivals, today, they have taken on a different role. Most Indian communities celebrate festivals such as Holi and Diwali with the notion that their children, who are growing in a foreign land will learn more about the festival as well as why they are celebrated. Today, however, these same festivities, which are often publicised in the Indian news in Perth, have become places for people to network and more importantly relive their childhood. So, when people are throwing colours or water balloons at their friends during Holi or bursting crackers for Diwali, or savouring the sweets made especially for these occasions, they are essentially reliving their early days. They reminisce how things used to be and how things have evolved today. For original source visit:https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/relive-your-childhood-indian- association-perth-indusage-aus
