Green bell shaped peppers are typically sweeter than most other varieties and have a somewhat acidic flavor. However, many chefs have developed a love for the green bell peppers due to the unique flavor and they are sought after by many people. Some of the more popular and sweetest bell peppers include Anaheim, Solanaceae, and Peruvian.
