  1. Seeking Reasonable Solutions

  2. During the second six weeks of school, you can learn about interactions by participating in activities that include the concepts of cooperation, dependence, and interdependence.

  3. Learning more about simple economics should help you understand how important it is to make wise choices before spending hard-earned money.

  4. To help you become better problem solvers, you can work in groups to complete tasks requiring goal setting and perseverance.

  5. You can also explore the ways domesticated animals help people.

  6. Have you ever wondered how something works? In this unit, you can explore force and how it causes motion as you learn about simple machines.

  7. After learning about simple and compound machines, you prepare for a grade level fair. The fair is an example of how people are connected to the natural world, how inventions solve problems, and how people interact with other people.

  8. This six weeks will be full of fun as we learn more about seeking reasonable solutions.

  9. Guiding Questions: • How do people solve problems using reasonable solutions? • How do people relate to the natural world? • How do inventions help solve problems? • How does our economic system work?
