  2. About NATA • NATA means National level Aptitude Test for Architecture conducted by COA. • 12th pass or 12th appearing students can go for NATA • This year it will be conducted Twice • First attempt in April & second attempt in July

  3. Eligibility Criteria • Who all can go for NATA/ Architecture 12thScience passed/appearing students can go for exam • Eligiblity Criteria 12th Science with minimum 50% marks in all Physics, Chemistry & Maths & Aggregate of 50% in all subjects. • No Lateral Entry

  4. NATA Exam Details • Total Marks: 200 • Divided into 3 subparts: 1. Drawing Exam: 80 Marks Two Subquestions: 40 Marks each 2. Maths : 40 Marks Twenty Multiple Choice Questions 3. General Aptitude Test: 80 Marks Forty Multiple Choice Questions • No Negative Marking

  5. Mathematics & Aptitude • Total 60 Questins • Each question 2 marks • No negative marking • Time : 1 hr. • Online Test • Min. marks: 25%

  6. Drawing Exam • Time : 2 hrs. • Min. Marks: 25% marks • The Drawing Aptitude is judged on the following Aspects: • Ability to sketch a given object proportionately and rendering the same in visually appearing manner.

  7. Visualizing and drawing the effects of light on the object and shadows cast on surroundings • Sense of Perspective Drawing • Combining & Composing given three dimensional elements to form a building or structural form • Creating interesting two dimensional composition using given shapes and forms

  8. Creating visual harmony using colors in given composition • Understanding of scale and proportions • Drawing from memory though pencil sketch on themes from day to day experiences

  9. First Attempt Dates • Procedure is Online • Form filling start date: 24th Jan 19 • Reg end date: 11th Mar 19 • Form Fees: 1800/- • Admit Card: 1st April 19 • Exam Date: 14th April 19 • Time: 10 a.m. to 1.15 p.m. • Result: 3rd May 19

  10. Second Attempt Dates • Form Opening Date :- 24th Jan 19 • End Date :- 12th June 19 • Admit Card :- 24th June 19 • Exam Date :- 7th July 19 • Result :- 21stJuly 19
