  4. What is Garlic? • Garlic is common name. It came from Latin name Allium Sativum. • It belongs to the onion family Alliaceae. It includes shallots and leek. • Garlic has been used throughout recorded history for both medicinal and culinary purposes.   5. History of Garlic • Garlic was a most common ingredient in Mediterranean and Europe. • European beliefs once considered garlic a powerful ward against demons, werewolves, and vampires.   6. Garlic • Everyone should consume 2-4 gram/day to stay healthy. • Local grocery store, farmer’s market, vitamin shop contain fresh garlic or garlic pills. • Garlic can be eaten raw, cook in meal or can taken as pills.

  7. Facts About Garlic • Garlic has germanium in it. Germanium is an anti-cancer agent, and garlic has more of it than any other herb. • It can helps to regulate the body's blood pressure. Garlic As A Home Remedies • For ear infection. • For scratchy throats: Put a small slice of garlic in your mouth and suck on it for 10-15 minutes and that will relive the throat pain. • The juice of fresh garlic mixed with salt can be applied to bruises, sprains and ringworms. • For cold: chop up 4 cloves of raw garlic and eat or use it as a garnish in soups. http://www.disabled-world.com/artman/publish/garlic-benefit.shtml

Garlic As A Home Remedies • Cut raw garlic and rub the cut edge on the tooth and gums a couple of times a day to stop toothache. • Take fresh garlic cloves and crush them, apply to warts until they disappear. • Crush a clove or two onto a dessertspoon then add olive oil and down the hatch. you get the benefits of raw garlic with none of the breath issues. • Garlic to clear sinuses. Garlic Side Effects • Over eating garlic can lead to odor on the skin and breath, can cause heartburn, upset stomach and allergic reactions. • Garlic can also thin the blood, so people who are having blood disorders, having surgery and women who will deliver a baby, they need to be careful about consuming it either fresh or in a supplement form. • Side effects from taking garlic supplements include headache, fatigue, loss of appetite, muscle aches and dizziness.
