  2. The Tribes • Chinook • Tlinglit

  3. Chinook Tribe • The tribe speaks Chinookan. They live in the southern part of the Northwest Coast. Their lifestyle is trading and fishing. The food they eat is salmon, game animals, gathered roots, and berries. They live in a semi subterrian split plank house. Their neighbors are Coast Salish and Klikitat. They like to woodcarve. They lived in the mountains and some lived beside oceans.

  4. Tlingit Tribe The Tlingit Tribe has the same environment and climate as Chinook. They lived in split plank houses. They eat salmon and other fish. Their crafts were woodcarving, basketry, and weaving. They live in the northern part of the northwest coast. Their neighbors are Tsimshian, Chugach, Inait, and the northern athapascan.
