And • CTB, the 86 year-old assessment company of McGraw-Hill Education, is internationally recognized for expertise in creating standards-based educational assessments. • CTB is dedicated to providing schools with the highest possible technical quality in terms of measuring student learning. • CTB was awarded the contract for the OSDE OCCT and OMAAP assessment program in Winter 2012.

InFormative Assessment • Acuity, CTB’s formative assessment system, is the award-winning web-based benchmark assessment program which will host the grades 3-8 benchmarks, free to all public school districts administering the OCCT and OMAAP assessments. • Acuity is a formative assessment system that is simple to use, yet provides robust reporting capabilities to help the “teacher help the child.”

Oklahoma 3-8 Benchmark Assessments Two Interim Benchmark Assessments for Each Content Domain Mathematics English Language Arts Writing The benchmarks act as interim measures to assess student performance in relation to instruction. The assessments are administered online in late October/November and late January/February in suggested testing windows. 6

Instructional Resources Acuity has several different types of Instructional Resources • Type: Tutorial • The “tutorial” type refers to Acuity’s original Instructional Resource format • These tutorials can be administered online and offline. • Teacher level reports are available with drill down capabilities. • Three components to the Acuity Tutorial:

  10. Class Roster Report Provides at-a-glance assessment results for students in a class

  11. Class Assessment Report Shows how the group of students performed by the standards

  12. Item Analysis Report Shows an item-by-item analysis of how students answered the questions

  13. Distractor Analysis Shows an item-by-item analysis of how students answered the questions

  14. Toggle to Report by Standards Set OK educators will be able to report by either the Oklahoma C3 Standards or the CCSS Standards.
