  1. After the test… • Turn your test into Ms. Spartz. • Return back to your computer. • Take out your composition notebook. • Answer the following questions in response to your Silent Field Observation homework: • Make a list of conflicts that you saw in any of your locations that you observed last night. • Describe how you felt while making your observations. • What was something new that you realized while observing in those locations last night? • List any new writing topics that came to mind after the overall field observation experiences. Types of Conflicts • A brother and sister fighting over a video game • Two animals fighting over a dead animal • Two dogs fighting over a toy fox • Two people fighting over money • Bus backing into a ditch • Someone in debt and losing their house • Three football players trying to get the starting position • Three socs and a greaser fighting

  3. Insect sucking the life out of a human! A starving person fighting the urge to not eat their little sisters hamburger. Wild parrots eat each other for survival!

  4. Your Writing Task • You will have __12 minutes_____ amount of time to complete this task • Create a powerpoint that includes the following: • Around 5 slides headlines, billboards or advertisements that reveal different types of conflicts. • On one picture for each slide, insert a “TEXT BOX” and list the different types of conflicts in the image.

  5. Your Homework • Bring in print off copies of pictures from newspapers/Google images/magazine images, newspaper headlines, magazine articles, or cartoon clippingsthat expose types of conflicts. • Aim to bring in 3 different types of items. (For Example: a newspaper headline, a Google image and a newspaper picture.)
