  2. In the Cafeteria • When empty and mostly clean, these items can be recycled Paper beverage containers and juice boxes Plastic trays and any plastic containers 1-7 Plastic bottles and their lids metal and glass

  3. Plastic Bottles, Tabs, &Lids Juice Boxes Can Be Recycled Plastic Trays Cans Paper Cartons

  4. Look for this bin in the Cafeteria

  5. Also from the Cafeteria • These items are being collected for Terracycle. TCE earns money for all items sent in. Terracycle turns these landfill-bound items into useful ones. MUST BE EMPTY & MOSTLY CLEAN Chip bags, candy wrappers, granola bar wrappers, ice cream wrappers Lunchables packages Drink pouches

  6. Where do I put these items? Juice Pouches Wrappers Lunch kits

  7. What do I do with everything else? • For now all • food waste, • plastic silverware, • napkins, • ziploc bags, • aluminum foil, • straws, • items covered in food…… Go in the trash

  8. Trash Plasticware, Straws, Napkins, & Wrappers Ziploc Bags All Food Paper Towels

  9. Look for this bin in the Cafeteria

  10. In the Classroom • Clean Paper goes in the blue bin • Cans and Bottles go in the big white bin Paper Paper Cans and Bottles

  11. Around School and From Home Elmer’s glue sticks, bottles, and packaging Old pens & markers Plastic tape dispensers and tape cores

  12. Where do I put these items? In the small Terracycle bins in your classroom Used Glue Sticks Old Markers and Pens Empty Tape Holders

  13. And did you know? • You can also bring old shoes and glasses to school

  14. With the help of Funding Factory we also raise money by collecting: Around School and From Home • Ink and toner cartridges • SMALL electronics such as digital cameras, cell phones, mp3 players, gps devices, computer mice, keyboards, and laptops • Batteries
