Join the efforts by parent volunteer, Beth Reynolds, to reduce waste in our campus cafeteria. Recycle paper beverage containers, plastic trays, plastic bottles, and more to make a positive impact. TerraceCycle collects chip bags, candy wrappers, and more for fundraising. Proper disposal instructions are provided for food waste, plastic ware, napkins, and more in the cafeteria. In the classroom, sort clean paper, cans, and bottles accordingly. Collection bins are available for used glue sticks, old markers, empty tape holders, shoes, glasses, ink cartridges, and small electronics. By participating, we reduce waste, learn about recycling, raise funds, and contribute to a better world. Take the pledge on America Recycles Day, November 15th, and spread awareness about the importance of recycling.
