  1. Getting Started in PT CPI Web A Student Overview Presentation by Academic Software Plus

  2. Logging into PT CPI Web https://cpi2.amsapps.com Your username is the email address inputted by your school If you forgot or do not have a password, click here

  3. Setting a Password Enter your Username and hit Continue

  4. Check Email for Instructions You will be prompted to check your email address for instructions to change your password

  5. Once Logged In… • Update ‘My Info’ • Click on your site name to start your CPI

  6. Update My Info You MUST complete the APTA Data Release Statements prior to starting the CPI

  7. Verify Completion of APTA Training Once you’ve updated ‘My Info’, click on your Evaluation to verify you’ve completed the APTA Training

  8. Verify Completion of APTA Training If you’ve passed the training, click the ‘I have completed the APTA PT CPI online training and assessment’ button If you have not, follow the directions to take the APTA Training

  9. Problems Verifying Training If the system cannot verify you’ve completed the training, you will be prompted to enter in a secondary email address that is associated with the APTA Learning Center. • If you still cannot verify you’ve completed the training, please send an email to ptcpiwebsupport@academicmanagement.comwith: • Your full name • Email address registered with the APTA Learning Center • Date you completed the training

  10. Evaluations Once you’ve verified you’ve completed the training, you will be in the ‘Evaluations’ tab To edit the CPI, click on ‘Edit’

  11. Edit CPI To edit the entire CPI at once, click on ‘Edit All’ To edit one section at a time, click on ‘Edit Now’

  12. Adding Comments/Ratings To view the Sample Behaviors, Introduction and Instructions, click the appropriate link To view any APTA glossary definitions, mouse over the word. Definitions are available for the Performance Dimensions and Anchor Points

  13. Adding Comments/Ratings Add comments to the comments box Select the appropriate rating Click the ‘Section Sign Off’ when you are finished and hit Save

  14. Once you’re finished… Once all 18 sections are completed, go to the ‘Evaluations’ tab to sign-off on your CPI

  15. Signing off on a Self-Evaluation ONCE YOU SIGN-OFF HERE, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO EDIT THE MIDTERM/FINAL!!! Once you sign-off here, your ACCE/DCE will be able to view your CPI. Your CI will only be able to see the CPI if they also have signed-off on their portion of the CPI. Once you sign-off here, you will be able to start your final.

  16. Signing off on a CI’s CPI To View your CI’s CPI along with yours, click on the ‘View’ button. To Sign-off on your CI’s CPI, click on the ‘Sign Off’ button

  17. Viewing the Completed CPI Use the Radio Buttons to filter comments you want to see The +/– number indicates progression/regression from Midterm to Final

  18. Program Staff This tab shows basic information about your ACCE/DCEs and other faculty using PT CPI Web Click on your ACCE/DCE’s email address to open up your email client to send a quick email

  19. Sites This tab shows basic information about your clinical site in PT CPI Web Click on the name of your site to see any provided information

  21. CCCE/CI This tab shows basic information about the CCCEs and CIs at your clinical site Click on the name of a clinician to see any provided information

  23. Critical Incidents If your CI creates a Critical Incident Report, it will appear on your home page when you first login Click on the link in the ‘My Incident Report’ box or click on the ‘Critical Incidents tab’

  24. Viewing a Critical Incident Report You are able to view the report, but not able to edit it

  25. Log Out When you have finished using PT CPI Web, click on the Log Out button in the upper right-hand corner
