Mr. Larrabee’s fourth grade class had an enlightening experience as honorary pages at the Maine State House. They met Speaker of the House Glenn Cummings, stood at the podium, and interacted with key figures like Senate President Beth Edmonds. The students were given a tour of the State House and the Governor's Office, meeting Governor John Baldacci. This visit deepened their understanding of state government operations compared to local and federal levels, highlighting the importance of civic education.
