  2. Take out your homework, and then take a bingo board. You will be randomly placing the fractions within your bingo board. You will have 3 minutes to get this completed or you will not be able to participate. DO NOW:

  3. Objective: I will be able to: -apply my knowledge of fractions So I can calculate the answer to the bingo problem (using one of the four operations) I will demonstrate my understanding when I can successfully compute the math expressions and get 4 in a row for a bingo. 6.NS.A.1

  4. Language Objective • By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use the language domains of listening, reading and writing. They will listen to the instructions, read the math expression and write the appropriate answers. Given an answer bank, students will demonstrate their knowledge when they can successfully get a bingo through the calculations of their expressions. • Academic Math Language Vocabulary: fraction, mixed number, improper fraction, add, subtract, multiply and divide. 6.NS.A.1

  5. Place ALL of these answers on your Bingo board in your packet. You can put them in any order.
