  3. SILVER RUN PROJECT 29th July 2019 – MAC Meeting

  4. Project Overview CLIENT - Silver Run Electric, LLC, One Tower Center, East Brunswick, NJ 08816 CABLE MANUFACTURER – NSW/GENERAL CABLE, Nordenham , Germany. Note: In 2018, PRYSMIAN secured the acquisition of GENERAL CABLE, bringing all GENERAL CABLE assets and subsidiary companies under the PRYSMIAN Brand. CABLE INSTALLER – PRYSMIAN/NSW START DATE – August 2019 COMPLETION DATE – November 2019

  5. Installation Overview • Seven (7) Power Cables to be installed • Cable installation will be from an in-river transition structure (Delaware Side – approx. 800ft from shore where DoW is approx. 2ft MLLW) to an onshore transition structure (New Jersey Side – Hope Creek Generating Station) • Cables are to be installed from West to East • Power Cables #1 and #7 will be laid with an additional separate Fibre Optic Cable

  6. Delaware Side - Augustine Wildlife Area

  7. New Jersey Side – Hope Creek Generating Station

  8. Operational Overview PRE-LAY JETTING RUN (PLJR) - Prior to actual cable installation, it is a requirement that each cable route is proven to ensure it is clear and that the cables will be able to be installed to the Target Burial Depth. PRYSMIAN has an agreement with the CLIENT that a total of up to three (3) PLJR’s will be performed, if necessary, to get to depth. Therefore, during PLJR Operations, ULISSE is anticipated to conduct seven (7) PLJR’s crossing the Delaware River for each cable. Additional pre-run(s) would be required only if and only where, the previous pre-run did not reach the Target Burial Depth. OBSTRUCTION REMOVAL – If, during the PLJR Operations, Target Burial is NOT achieved due to seabed debris/obstruction, then a Dredge Barge will be utilised to clear the debris/obstruction, prior to the burial tool returning to prove the cable route. CABLE INSTALLATION - During the Cable Installation phase, ULISSE will cross the Delaware River seven (7) times.

  9. Burial Depths Across Delaware River • 3m (10ft) in areas INACCESSIBLE to ULISSE (“OTTER” Tracked ROV Burial Tool) • 4.5m (15ft) in areas ACCESSIBLE by ULISSE (VERTICAL INJECTOR Burial Tool) • 8m (25ft) across Nav Channel (ULISSE with VERTICAL INJECTOR Burial Tool)

  10. ULISSE Cable Installation Vessel • 57 Max P.O.B. • Vertical Injector Burial System • 9-Point Anchor Spread • Shallow Draft (Min 2.6m, Max 5.5m) • 2 x Spuds

  11. ULISSE has a 9-Point anchor layout but generally uses only 7 during normal Skid patterns.

  12. Specialised Anchor Handling Tugs • ULISSE operates with dedicated “Special” AHT’s capable of the following: • Carrying all spread anchors (8 x 10T & 1 x 13T Delta Flipper Anchors) • Deploying and decking 10T & 13T Delta Flipper anchors with other anchors on deck • Performing full anchor move (7 anchors in 2.5hrs) (Critical speed for channel closures) “C-FENNA” 2.6m Draft 35.6T Bollard Pull 145m2 Deck Space “TESSA F” 2.6m Draft 40T Bollard Pull 90m2 Deck Space

  13. Overview of ULISSE Anchor Positions

  14. Cables are to be floated in from the ULISSE to an INTERMEDIATE BARGE positioned in front of Delaware transition structure.

  15. RED – Start Point for ULISSE. All anchors clear of channel with 2 Anchors at edge. GREEN (Hold Point 1) – End of 1st Skid. All anchors to be repositioned. Permission required to run FWD anchors (x 3) across Channel. During this Skid, ULISSE has ability to SPUD DOWN and slacken FWD anchor wires to allow vessels to transit. BLUE (Hold Point 2) – End of 2nd Skid. All anchors to be repositioned. Permission required to run FWD anchors (x 4) across Channel. During Anchor moves, ULISSE has ability to SPUD DOWN and slacken FWD anchor wires to allow vessels to transit. START POSITION HOLD POINT 2 HOLD POINT 1

  16. Before commencing the 3rd Skid pattern (BLUE), permission must be granted to close the Channel to all vessels. Due to the depth of the Channel, ULISSE is unable to SPUD DOWN whilst transiting the Channel. Skid distance to cross Channel is 476m BLUE/GREY (Hold Point 3) – Position during 3rd Skid, where ULISSE has cleared the Nav Channel but AFT anchors (x2) remain across the Channel. If required ULISSE has ability to SPUD DOWN and slacken AFT anchor wires to allow vessels to transit. PURPLE (Hold Point 4) - End of 3rd Skid. All anchors to be repositioned. Permission required to recover AFT anchors (x 3) across Channel. Once anchors are moved, the Nav Channel is fully clear. HOLD POINT 4 HOLD POINT 2 HOLD POINT 3

  17. ULISSE continues on towards New Jersey Landing Area.
