  2. Duncan Ball was born in Boston 1941. In 1982, he decided that he did not have enough time to write his novels whilst working as the editor of the School Magazine so he resigned and started writing full time.

  4. The Case of the Midnight Zappers Onegirl and one boy, a man and a policeman were looking for the people who were graffiti other people’s houses. There was a group of boys called the Zappers who used to graffiti.

  5. The boy and girl asked if the Zappers were zapping houses. The Zappers ignored them and sprayed them with green paint.

  6. They went to the police station. A trusted man had a map with a number of X’s on it. The X’s made a pattern of the letter Z.

  7. One of the X’s could be either cricket ground or the train station. The trusted man offered to look after the police station when the police went to look for the graffiti artists.

  8. BUT

  9. He left and stole some paint from the shop next door, he came back and graffiti the police station.

  10. The police came back and caught the graffiti artist. This was the Case of the Midnight Zapper
