  11. The Demo2.1 TAE powered by electrical heaters • Electrical Heater • Power Input: ≈2KW (1KW*2) • Regenerator info • 200*200mm • Thickness ≈10mm • Porosity 76% • Feedback Piping • ID: 80mm • ¼ λ length 570mm • ¾ λ length varies from 2800 to 3800mm • Onset Temp: ≈ 144oC • Frequency: 60 ~85Hz Photo of SCORE Malaysia Low-cost Electricity Generating Heat Engine for Rural Areas ( SCORE International Conference 2012) Nottingham, UK. 12. Table 1: Experimental Results when the Engine Oscillating at Initial Condition * The AHX and HHXs’ temperatures are not the onset temperatures. They were recorded at the Peak pressure stated (P1 and P2). Low-cost Electricity Generating Heat Engine for Rural Areas ( SCORE International Conference 2012) Nottingham, UK. Monday April 02, 2012

  13. Conclusion for now: • The Demo2.1 TAE was well integrated with the Stove • The Volume Analysis of the Demo2.1 TAE was performed and illustrated • The Demo2.1 TAE was oscillating stably at the frequency of 70 Hz by removing the LA and Tuning Volume • The apparatus was found oscillating at the low onset temperature of approximately 144oC at around 200Pa • The proposed inexpensive method of using a composite of ceramic as a primary sealant and insulation for the corrugated HHX is working well Low-cost Electricity Generating Heat Engine for Rural Areas ( SCORE International Conference 2012) Nottingham, UK.
