  1. WHAT IS THE GOOD FORMAT FOR A RESEARCH PAPER

  2. Format for a research paper As the nature of your research is based is based up on the outline of your Research paper. To frame the research it is very essential to divide your research into various parts ( Introduction, Body, Conclusion ). By doing this you can easily manage the essay and provide more and important information.

  3. MAIN COMPONENTS OF AN OUTLINE • THE INTRODUCTION • THE BODY • THE CONCLUSION

  4. INTRODUCTION Introduction is the very important component of an outline as it helps the reader to understand the topic easily. To grab the attention of the reader this is done by presenting the reader a specific topic and its relative part should be written in that manner that a reader can understand about it quickly. If the introduction is not in a good manner then the reader will lose the interest in it.

  5. BODY Source- Grammarly Body is the centre point of a research paper as it contains questions of related topic and answers of a researcher, so it should be better managed. Body includes paragraphs which are fact-based so the statement which a researcher gave should support the argument related to the topic.

  6. Conclusion At last, the researcher should mention the clarification of the topic in a proper manner and in brief so reader can understand it. When somebody research on given topic then he/she takes help from the books, internet or from the experts in the specific field, if they are giving some statement about the topic then it is mandatory they should mention the source of the information.

  7. TYPES OF FORMATS • APA Citation Style • MLA Citation Style • Chicago/Turabian Citation Style

  8. APA Citation Style APA Citation Style is a style or format which is used in academic documents like articles, assignments or essays. It was originated in 1929. It is used to convert the scientific writing so the reader can easily understand the content. It is explained in the style guide of American Psychological Association.

  9. MLA Citation Style The MLA Style Manual, titled the MLA Style Manual and Guide to Scholarly Publishing in its second (1998) and third edition (2008), was an academic style guide by the United States-based Modern Language Association of America (MLA) first published in 1985. MLA announced in April 2016 that the publication would be discontinued: the third edition would be the last and was to be “taken out of print”. The announcement also said that what began as an abridged version for students, the MLA Handbook, was to be thenceforth “the authoritative source for MLA style", and that the organization was "in the process of developing additional publications to address the professional needs of scholars. 10. CHICAGO/TURABIAN CITATION STYLE Chicago is a documentation style that has been published by the Chicago University Press since 1906. This citation style incorporates rules of grammar and punctuation common in American English. Typically, Chicago style presents two basic documentation systems: (1) notes and bibliography and (2) author-date. Choosing between the two often depends on subject matter and the nature of sources cited, as each system is favored by different groups of scholars.
