Innovative RNA Analysis and Nanotechnology: Structural Determination and Microfluidic Solutions
This project encompasses three pivotal areas of RNA research. Project 1 focuses on RNA structural determination at single nucleotide resolution through selective 2’-hydroxyl acylation analyzed by primer extension (SHAPE). Project 2 involves designing and developing Lab-on-a-Chip microfluidic devices for miniaturized and automated RNA structural analysis, cell culture, and biosensing applications. Project 3 is dedicated to RNA nanotechnology, where we aim to create static RNA nanoarchitectures and mobile nanomachines for use in biosensors and other related fields.
