Draft Geospatial Services Rates • Orthophotography and Road Centerlines • Began rate discussions in 2006 • Orthos • No fees for 2006/07 imagery copies • Rates to begin with 2009 imagery • Ortho web service for 2006/07 imagery • Began with $20K/year per agency (2007) • Reduced to 10K/year per agency (2008)

Draft Geospatial Services Rates • Ortho web service for 2009/2011 imagery • 3 categories: • Local Government • State Agencies, Universities, Non Profits • Private Sector • Tiered structure based on # of users. • “User” is defined as one (1) Desktop application such as ArcMap, or one (1) web application • Subscription includes access to all available previous years VBMP data • Subscription includes access to NAIP web service

Draft Geospatial Services Rates • 2002 VBMP image cache web service (one meter resolution) • No fee • 2006/07 VBMP high resolution image cache web service:  • 1-5 users: $500.00 per year • 6-15 users: $1,000.00 per year • 16 users and up: $2,000.00 per year • 2009/2011 VBMP high resolution image cache web service:  • 1-5 users: 1,000.00 per year • 6-15 users: $2,000.00 per year • 16 users and up: $5,000.00 per year

Draft Geospatial Services Rates • Copies of Orthophotography • Statewide 2009/2011 VBMP imagery copies: • $20,000 (JPEG2000) • $30,000 (GeoTiffs) • Statewide 2009/2011 VBMP imagery copies with Imagery Subscription Service: • $10,000 (JPEG2000) • $20,000 (GeoTiff) • 2009/2011 Invoicing done at time of product delivery • e.g. 50% of state delivered in 2009, 50% of statewide fee is invoiced

  5. Road Centerline - RCL • No Change in Price: $4,200 / year with quarterly updates • Navteq data now included with RCL subscription • Virginia and contiguous states (includes DC) • Geocoding Web Service • No Change: $1,000 per year

  6. Future Service Considerations • VITA storage location/drive for accessing imagery copies • Color IR availability and access mechanisms e.g. web service, data download, geoprocessing tools, etc. • Bundled web services discount (imagery, geocoding
