  5. VMCoP Planning Team Transition • VMCoP Planning Team Transition: Introduction of Leslie McCree from CDC PHITPO. Kim Wilson will be replaced by Leslie McCree. • Call for new VMCoP Co-Lead: Please e-mail Leslie McCree at zry4@cdc.gov , if you are interested in holding the VMCoP Co-Lead position. You may need to volunteer only for 3 to 4 hours per month which includes the monthly meeting time (2 hours). Current VMCoP co-lead Sundak Ganesan will be replaced by the new VMCoP co-lead starting from Nov/ Dec 2010.

PHIN VADS Vocabulary Authoring Tool • PHIN VADS Vocabulary Authoring Tool called “Universal Authoring Framework” (UAF) will be available outside CDC network next week. • Public Health Partners and Organizations can utilize the tool to manage the value sets present in PHIN VADS (e.g. Versioning, new value sets, etc..) • VADS Vocabulary Review Panel will have representation from CDC programs, State Public Health Departments, SDO’s , Community of Practice, Implementers and organizations like CSTE, etc.. • Governance • Content and Application Enhancements • Training / Implementation Support • VADS and UAF (authoring tool) related webinars will be done in Nov / Dec 2010.

  11. VMCoP Webinar Planning Survey • Responses so far and the update about completed webinars: • 1. Vocabulary & Messaging Overview - 98 % (Nov / Dec 2010) • 2. MU - ELR – 90 % (Completed - August 2010) • 3. MU – Syndromic Surveillance – 84 % (Oct 2010) • 4. Vocabulary & Messaging Tools – 83 % (Nov / Dec 2010) • 5. EMR Overview – 80 % - (HL7 Webinar about EHR – Oct 2010) • 6. MU – Immunization – 63 % (Completed - Sept 2010)
