  8. 9. Irina Machikhiliyan, 22.06.2011 Signal change per fill vsLumi, fills 1748-1875 (cont) Inner: up to 1.6% Middle: up to 1.% Outer: up to 0.9%

  10. Irina Machikhiliyan, 22.06.2011 Impressions: fills 1799 - 1883 • Gradual decrease of average PMT/PIN with respect to the reference point (up to 6.5% in case of Inner section, 5% in average for the whole detector). It seems that the typical period between two consecutive fills is too short for the noticeable recuperation. • Main contribution comes from the rad. damage of Monitoring system fibers (at least in the Outer section) • Signal relative change over the fill • seems depending on delivered luminosity (not the duration of the fill), up to 1.6% change at present conditions (Inner section), 1.1% in average for the whole detector.

  11. Irina Machikhiliyan, 22.06.2011 Location of integrators on ECAL surface, ¼ of ECAL Net charge through PMTs according to the integrators,1 Mar – 21 Jun Black: C, top Red: C, bottom Green A, top Blue: A, bottom Q vs R <Q>vs R R, cm R, cm

  12. Irina Machikhiliyan, 22.06.2011 Consumptions from MV,22 Mar – 21 Jun Looks like further decrease of net consumption I, A I, A t, sec t, sec C-side A-side

  13. Irina Machikhiliyan, 22.06.2011 Individual consumptions for sections Two measurements of MV consumptions individually per each half of the detector section (no beam, no LED flashing): 1 Jun 5 Jun C-side A-side C-side A-side Inner 0.3097A 0.309A 0.3072A 0.3063A Middle 0.3238A 0.323A 0.3238A 0.3234A Outer 0.5285A 0.5299A 0.5288A 0.5301 A Only Inner section seems to be affected [?for a moment?], measurements are to be repeated on the regular basis Overall consumption from MV (no beam, no LED flashing): 1.1599 A / side (5 Jun) instead of 1.186 A / side (beginning of 2011)

  14. Consumption per C-W, via small groups of cells, various location on detector Irina Machikhiliyan, 22.06.2011 • First measurement: 30 Apr, CALO logbook entry http://lblogbook.cern.ch/CALO/1577 • Second measurement: 1 Jun, CALO logbook entry http://lblogbook.cern.ch/CALO/1623

  15. Consumption per C-W, via small groups of cells, various location on detector (cont) Irina Machikhiliyan, 22.06.2011 • Central Inner cells: systematic shift down. Black and red dots: 30 Apr, green and blue: 1 Jun, line: fit over 3 first points. The dependencies are still linear. • Outer cells: consumptions did not change at all C-side A-side

  16. Irina Machikhiliyan, 22.06.2011 Next steps • Check regularly the values of MV-consumption for each half of the section • Next tech. stop: re-measure C-W pumping frequencies (initial measurement – 10 May, see logbook entry http://lblogbook.cern.ch/CALO/1587) Connector #1 (crate 14/slot08) <f> = 64.8 kHz Connector #2 (crate 13 /slot18) <f> = 65.5 kHz Connector #3 (crate 08/ slot18) <f> = 68.94 kHz Connector #4 (crate 09/slot09) <f> = 68.97 kHz
