WHO ARE THE HAWKETTES? • The Hawkettes are an award-winning, spirit organization that attend football and basketball games, perform at pep rallies, compete, and star in their own annual spring show. The Hawkettes spend 90% of their time performing and preparing for performances, as well as marching in parades, performing community service, and supporting the Hawks. THEY ARE LEADERS; BOTH ON THE TEAM AND IN THEIR CLASSROOMS. • Director: Porsche Colbert

Costs • Dancewear (mandatory) • Approximately $500.00-$600.00 to Texas Motion Sports • Approximately $100.00 to Floyettes for field Hats • Approximately $50 for tennis shoes • Camp (mandatory) • Approximately $400 • Miscellaneous(mandatory) • Approximately $30-$40 • Big sis/Lil sis, social dues, etc.

  8. Tryout Dates • Monday, April 7, 2014 • Tryout clinic I-4:30-6:30 • Tuesday, April 8, 2014 • Tryout clinic II-4:30-6:30 • Wednesday, April 9, 2014 • Tryout clinic III-4:30-6:30 • Thursday, April 10, 2014 • Tryout clinic IV-4:30-6:30 • Friday, April 11, 2014 • Tryouts @ 7:00pm

Friday, April 11, 2014 • Call time • Please be at the school by 6:15 PM; stretched and ready by 6:45 • Tryouts will begin promptly at 7:00 PM • Attire • Black top, Black pants, black shoes, hair out of your face & performance make up on • Line announcements • Letters will be handed out following tryouts • If you want to see scores you must set an appointment after tryouts with an administrator.

  12. JUDGING CRITRIA • Jazz Routine • 30% • Kick Routine • 30% • Right/Left Splits • 10% • Teacher Evaluations • 10% • Appearance • 10%

  13. After Tryouts • Mandatory parent meeting April 14, following team fitting $150.00 deposit must be paid by this time • Mandatory Team Fitting, Wednesday, April 23, $200.00 deposit due to Texas Motion Sports. • Boot Camps/Practices • Technique practices
