Summer • Rookie Boot Camp • Plan and operate • JH TEAM CAMP FUNDRAISER • Pre-Camp Practice • Both line & officer • Home routine for officer camp • Officer/Line Camp • Squad Practice (at least 2) • Technique Classes • Summer Practices • Home Camp • Squad get togethers • At least 2 per semester Summer Responsibility

  4. Dancewear (mandatory) • Approximately $550.00 • Officer Camp (mandatory) • Approximately $400 • Line Camp (mandatory) • Approximately $400 • Big Sis/Lil Sis (mandatory) • Approximately $20-$30 Costs

  5. Due March 31, 2014 by 4:30 • Application (online) • Notebook • Officer contract • Signature Sheet • Teacher Evaluation • Constitution Verification Due to Mrs. Colbert

  6. Complete an officer notebook • Group Dance • Solo • Interview • GPA • Teacher evaluations Tryout process

  7. Cover page • Include resume and full explanation of merits/demerits • Complete & turn in on time Officer Notebook

  8. May not receive any outside help • Stay within your time limits between 45-75 secs • Have music on a cd (no phones) Officer Solo

Monday, April 7, 2014 • Line candidates Learn jazz routine • Tuesday, April 8, 2014 • Line Candidates Learn kick routine • Wednesday, April 9, 2014 • Officer learn try out routine 7:30am • Line Candidates Practice jazz & kick • Thursday, April 10, 2014 • Line Mock Tryouts • Officer Mock tryouts 7:30 am Tryout Clinics

Call time • Please be at the main gym by 4:15 PM • Tryouts will begin promptly at 4:30 AM • Attire • Group dance: Black jersey top, Black jazz pants, black jazz shoes, clean bun • Solo costume • Number pinned to the front of your shirt • Do not have to wear number on solo costume • Officer announcements • Letters will be handed out following tryouts • Rank will be revealed at a later date • If you make officer, be prepared to meet on the following Saturday, April 12. Time and place TBA after tryouts Fri., April 11, 2014
