  1. TRC 500 Meter Silhouette Range Ramada Shooting Positions 38+ hits, Expert 33+ hits, Sharpshooter 26+ hits, Marksman <26 hits, Practice more RiflemanChallengeMatch Stage 2,AQT--TRC Style,5 target banks at approximately 100 to 300 yards distance, 40 rounds total (20 rounds prone supported and 20 rounds prone unsupported), par time each shot. We don’t have the nice popup silhouettes that the Army uses, but you won’t be shooting reduced paper targets at 25 meters either. You’ll find this stage’s timed snap shots challenging. #5 300 meters #4 250 yards #3 200 meters #2 150 yards #1 100 yards 1) Starting Position--Shooter has all equipment attached to him when proceeding to start position. Rifle is loaded after shooter assumes position. Shooter starts in prone (unsupported or supported, as per SO) position.* 2) COF--On buzzer, shooter engages a single silhouette in the target bank called by SO, i.e., #1, #2, #3, #4. or #5. Shot is time limited. Shots after par time are counted as a miss. Stage may be run with up to three (3) shooters simultaneously. Banks are called in random order forcing the shooter to change position, identify target, aim, and fire. 20 rounds supported fire followed by 20 round unsupported fire. 3)Equipment--Any high power rifle (e.g. .223, .308, scoped, iron sights, bolt action, semi- auto, etc.) acceptable. No AP ammo. Elbow and kneepads OK. No shooting jackets. Shooter may use sling. Mag’s loaded 10 rounds max. 4)Par time--Depending on course, between 4 and 6 seconds per shot. To be set by SO. 5)Scoring--Number of neutralized targets (max 40) within par time. * Shooters with physical impairment may assume any safe shooting position that suits them. Note: Regardless of the total score, ability to consistently hit targets at all ranges is an essential feature of a good Rifleman. How did you do at the 300 yard silhouettes?
