  1. Mrs. Muravchick’s Class News Week of Sept. 9th • Students are doing well making sure homework is completed each night.  • I am proud of all the students that could recognize all of the color words!  • *Reading Homework – Reading homework has begun, please make sure that you are reading with your child for 10 minutes each night! Make sure you are practicing the letters, letter sounds and sight words that are in the baggy! Don’t forget to sign the reading log!  • *Sight Words–The students will be assessed each Friday over letters, sounds and words. Once your child can master a set of 20 words, a new set of words will be added to the your child’s ring. • *Treat Bucket– We could really use some candy for our treat bucket! If you could send in a bag that would be great. • *Thank you for all the box tops that have been brought in for our class! The website is updated each week to keep you informed! PTO Meeting – Thurs. Sept. 12th at 6:00 Math News We just completed Chapter 1 math test on numbers to 5. We are now moving onto our next chapter, which is numbers to 10. I have attached an information letter and some activities for this chapter to this newsletter.
